I was taught to smoke Dr Blosser's cigarettes at the age of four, some seventy-three years ago. I smoked 'real' cigarettes from age sixteen to forty-eight. Did being taught to inhale smoke at a tender age have anything to do with my later habit?

Stephanie (with Digging Up Your Family)

Haha! Possibly! At 4 years old, really?

The herbs listed also listed canabis sativa. At 4 we used them often. Afternoon munchies always followed.

I am 69 and I was given these at an early age also. I do seem to remember they worked. Course I didn't have asthma, just colds. Don't know why the named just popped into my head and I looked it up. Glad to find some info on them.

Hello Marjorie! Thank you for visiting my blog!

I have recently been reading the book "A Home-Concealed Woman: The Diaries of Magnolia Wynn Le Guin, 1901-1913", and she makes mentioned of sending away to Atlanta for a pack, I believe to help her with her catarrh that she seemed to suffer from a lot.
